2. Right of Withdrawal (EU and UK Consumers)

If you are a consumer (i.e., acting for purposes outside your trade, business, or profession), you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract.

2.1 EU Consumers

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract (the date of booking confirmation).

Your notice must clearly state your intention to withdraw from the contract.

You may use the following wording (not mandatory):

“I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of tutoring services booked on [date].”

4. Early Performance and Loss of Withdrawal Right

By booking services scheduled to begin within the 14-day withdrawal period, you expressly request that the Provider begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period.

In such case:

  • If services are fully performed within the 14-day period, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the services have been fully delivered.

  • If services are partially performed before withdrawal, you must pay for the portion of services already provided, calculated proportionally to the total agreed price.

For digital materials supplied outside a tangible medium (e.g., downloadable model answers), the right of withdrawal may be lost once access has been granted, provided you have expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of withdrawal rights.
